INDIANAPOLIS – The 2018 Verizon IndyCar Series schedule was unveiled on Thursday and if you look closely at it, you’d notice a major track was left off. All Honda Podium On Sunday at Watkins Glen

Watkins Glen, NY – On Friday, Honda began to flex their muscle at Watkins Glen. In the first practice session, they had seven of the top eight speeds. In the second one, they backed that up with putting six in the top nine. Then, in the third practice on Saturday morning, they had six cars in the top seven on the speed chart. That all equated to five of the top seven starting spots in Sunday’s INDYCAR Grand Prix at the Glen being Honda drivers.

Watkins Glen, NY – It was already shaping up to be a good weekend for Chip Ganassi Racing’s Scott Dixon. After all, he was quickest in two of the three Verizon IndyCar Series practice sessions at Watkins Glen and even qualified his No. 9 Honda on the front row for Sunday’s race.
