USAC “Week of Indy” Going to Be Big Spectacle

INDIANAPOLIS – NASCAR has Daytona Speedweeks in February. There’s not just a ton of races at the Daytona International Speedway down there in late winter, but there’s also short track racing at New Smyrna, Ocala and other places around Central Florida as well. Springfield Changes Tony Bettenhausen 100 to “Bettenhausen 100” Honoring Whole Family

INDIANAPOLIS – Ahead of next weekend’s USAC Silver Crown race at the Illinois State Fair on August 20, the track changed the name of the annual race to honor the entire Bettenhausen family. Month of July All About USAC Sprints, Indiana Sprint Week Headlines Month for USAC Action

Now that Gateway is behind us, the month of July is all about the USAC Sprints. The only USAC Silver Crown race is at Lucas Oil Raceway on July 21 as that’s their lone event in the entire month of July. The next race for them after that, is on Aug. 13 at Salem. The USAC Midgets don’t race at all between now and August, as they are off until Aug. 2 at Jefferson County Speedway in Fairbury, Nebraska.
