Saturday’s Cup Practice Report From Chicagoland

After one practice session as well as setting the field for Sunday’s Tales of the Turtles 400 (3 p.m. ET/NBCSN/MRN) on Friday, the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series drivers had two more practices on Saturday as the final preparation for this weekend’s first race of the playoffs. In the initial session, Martin Truex Jr. led the way with a fast lap of 180.650 mph.
