Rodney Childers Suspended 1 Race for Lug Nuts Not Properly Installed on Harvick’s Car at Indy

NASCAR has handed Kevin Harvick’s No. 4 Chevrolet team a P3 penalty following an infraction at the Brickyard 400 in which Harvick’s lugnuts on the tires of his Stewart-Haas Racing entry weren’t properly installed when inspected by NASCAR. Crew Chief Rodney Childers was fined $20k and suspended a race for the infraction, as he will not be at the Pocono Raceway this weekend as a result.
