Parker Thompson Wins A Thrilling Pro Mazda Race No. 2 In Indy

INDIANAPOLIS – Saturday’s Pro Mazda Series race at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway was a race of attrition. It all started off on the drop of the green flag when rookies Robert Megennis and Rinus VeeKay made contact before they even took the flag as VeeKay was out with a last place finish before the race even began. He was the points leader entering this second race of the weekend and leaves with a last place finish. Megennis would continue on with damage and finish two laps down in eighth.

Parker Thompson Dominates Pro Mazda Race No. 1 In Barber

LEEDS, Ala – Its been a flawless weekend thus far for Parker Thompson. The rookie was fastest in the lone practice session of the weekend on Friday at the Barber Motorsports Park. Then, in qualifying later on in the day, Thompson qualified his No. 90 Mazda on the pole for today’s race. On Saturday morning, the 16 drivers hit the 2.3-mile Alabama track to qualify for Sunday’s race No. 2. Thompson once again was quickest.

MRTI Championships To Be Decided This Weekend at Watkins Glen

It’s defacto championship weekend for the entire Mazda Road to Indy program this weekend at Watkins Glen International. All three series’ of the ladder program will have a champion crowned this weekend in upstate New York. Parker Thompson Dominates Race 2 of USF2000 Weekend at Mid-Ohio

Lexington, OH – Parker Thompson kept his hot streak going on Saturday afternoon at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, as he lead all 21 laps of race No. 2 of the USF2000 en route to his third victory over the last four races. Thompson, 19, won both races in his home country of Canada at Toronto two weeks ago, and now he took his No. 90 Mazda back to victory lane for the seventh time of his USF2000 career.
