5 Favorite, 5 Early Sleepers and 5 Don’t Touch Drivers For This Weekend in Martinsville

March Madness is still thriving as the term “favorites” and “sleepers” are stealing the headlines. Well, NASCAR can play to that role too. There’s also some drivers to stay clear…

Can Larson Keep Winning Streak Going On 2 Mile Tracks This Weekend In Fontana

Just call him two-mile Kyle if you want. There’s been nobody better on both two-mile D-Shaped NASCAR tracks over the last two years than Kyle Larson. In fact, if you go back to August of 2016, no one has won a Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series nor NASCAR XFINITY Series race that Larson had entered at both the Auto Club Speedway or Michigan International Speedway, other than Larson himself. In 2016, Larson earned his first career Cup victory at Michigan. There was no XFINITY Series race at Michigan in August.…

Is Phoenix The Weekend To Get Chevy Drivers, Mainly Kyle Larson and Hendrick Motorsports Going?

It’s no secret, the start of the 2018 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series season has been a trying time for Chevrolet as a whole. With a new car for this season, it was supposed to see a big uptick in results. Last year, Chevy didn’t have a single driver make the Championship 4 round in NASCAR’s premiere series. They’d struggle for much of the second half of the year. That’s why out went the old SS and in came the new Camaro. Instead of a bump, 2018 has seen even…

LAS VEGAS, NV – It was nearly a perfect race weekend on the NASCAR XFINITY Series side of things for Kyle Larson. The Chip Ganassi Racing driver was fastest in both practice sessions on the Las Vegas Motor Speedway oval on Friday, then backed that up with seeing his No. 42 Chevrolet sit on top of the leaderboard in both the first and second rounds of qualifying on Saturday afternoon. Unfortunately for him, rookie Christopher Bell would narrowly top him in the third and final round of qualifying to earn his…

LAS VEGAS, NV – It’s no secret, the last two years, Chevrolet has been down in comparison to the other two manufacturers in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series. In 2017, Chevy drivers were locked out of the Championship 4 at the Homestead-Miami Speedway. They never could contend enough to earn one of the four coveted spots in the final round. Through two races this season, Chevy is down again. Most would think that they may have another long season ahead. But, 2018 is a different than 2017 for the bowties…

5 Favorites For Sunday’s Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500 (2 p.m. ET/FOX/PRN/SiriusXM NASCAR Radio)

HAMPTON, GA – As the NASCAR teams say, the real season begins this weekend at the Atlanta Motor Speedway. With that being said, now that the carnage of Daytona is behind us, who are the teams to watch in Sunday’s Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500 (2 p.m. ET/FOX/PRN/SiriusXM NASCAR Radio)? While it’s tough to predict a restirctor plate race, it’s equally as hard to predict what will happen in race No. 2 of a season.
