Jay Howard Fastest in Day 4 of Indy 500 Practice on Thursday

INDIANAPOLIS – Windy conditions caused just 408 laps turned around the famed Indianapolis Motor Speedway on Wednesday, but with the winds dying down a bit on Thursday, and today also being the last full day for teams on race setups until after qualifying, it was a much busier afternoon of practice around the 2.5-mile track. The first half of the day and happy hour saw cars run in big groups, as everyone was simulating race runs. That produced 2,362 laps on Thursday.
