Colton Herta Victorious In 400th Indy Lights Race

Leeds, Ala – 17-year old Colton Herta is showing us why he’s going to be a star in the Verizon IndyCar Series one day. The second generation driver led flag-to-flag in Sunday’s Indy Lights Series race at the Barber Motorsports Park en route to his second career victory in just his fourth ever start. By virtue of rain falling on the 2.3-mile Alabama race track this morning, qualifying was rained out. Due to Herta holding the points lead, he started on the pole.
