Germain Racing has a new address. The Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series team is moving from Mooresville, North Carolina to Welcome, NC for 2019 and beyond. The reason for the move is simple – to be closer to Richard Childress Racing. Germain Racing announced Monday that Ty Dillon will jump full-time into NASCAR’s premier series next season, taking the reins of its No. 13 Chevrolet. Dillon replaces Casey Mears, who had driven the No. 13 since the second half of the 2010 season.
