Penske/Ganassi Have Struggled In Coca-Cola 600 (6 p.m. ET/FOX/PRN/SiriusXM NASCAR Radio)

It would be a dream weekend for either Team Penske or Chip Ganassi Racing if they could win the Indy-Charlotte double in the same day. So far, it’s never happened. For some reason, as much success that Penske and Ganassi have had at Indy, they’ve struggled in the Coca-Cola 600 (6 p.m. ET/FOX/PRN/SiriusXM NASCAR Radio). Jamie McMurray for Ganassi does have three straight top 12 finishes at Charlotte, but he hasn’t been a true contender to win though. Coca-Cola To Sponsor Austin Dillon In Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte

Richard Childress Racing Racing announced on Thursday that Coca-Cola, one of the world’s iconic brands, will be featured as primary sponsor on the No. 3 Chevrolet at Charlotte Motor Speedway during the Coke 600 next month. Coca-Cola’s longtime partnership with RCR will continue its deep-rooted history over Memorial Day Weekend with defending race winner Dillon carrying the Coca-Cola colors. Coke and RCR have been partners since 1998, but the company has been in NASCAR For over 50 years. Dillon, was introduced to the Coke family of drivers in 2014.
