This weekend, the Verizon IndyCar Series drivers will run two races, a doubleheader Saturday with a 70 Lap race tomorrow, and another 70 Lap event run on Sunday. Belle Isle, MI – The rumors are now true, as Dale Coyne Racing announced on Thursday that former Formula One driver Esteban Gutierrez will sub for injured Sebastien Bourdais in the doubleheader at Detroit this weekend. Bourdais, was injured on May 20 while qualifying for the Indianapolis 500. As a result of the scary accident, Bourdais suffered multiple fractures to the pelvis and a broken right hip during the incident.
