After A Rough Day, Friesen Rebounds To Finish 6th, But It’s Not Quite Enough To Move Onto The 2nd Round

TALLADEGA, Ala – The box score will show that Stewart Friesen finished sixth in his No. 52 Chevrolet in Saturday’s Fr8Auctions 250 at the Talladega Superspeedway. That doesn’t tell the whole story though. Friesen, was eliminated from the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series playoffs this weekend as he was eighth out of eight drivers in the standings following the third and final race of the opening round. While some would say, how does Friesen get eliminated when Ben Rhodes finished 16th, Brett Moffitt 17th and Matt Crafton 26th?

TALLADEGA, Ala – Matt Crafton can thank his lucky stars that his No. 88 Ford was so strong in the first 40 Laps of Saturday’s Fr8Auction 250 at the Talladega Superspeedway. In Saturday’s race, he was unfortunately involved in a scary Lap 58 crash which collected half of the eight playoff drivers and 10 Trucks overall.…

Gragson’s 1st Choice Was To Remain With Toyota But Wasn’t Meant To Be

Toyota lost another developmental driver for the future as Noah Gragson joins a list of talented drivers like Kyle Larson, William Byron, Ryan Preece and others to move from a Toyota ride in the NASCAR ranks to a Chevrolet one. That’s the only problem about so few Toyota teams in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series. There’s not a lot of room to move up.
