Watkins Glen, NY – The pressure gets bigger and bigger as the days go on through the race weekend at Watkins Glen. On Friday, it was practice and qualifying day. Today, it was part one of race day festivities. Both the USF2000 and Pro Mazda Series’ had races on Saturday, with the USF2000 having their season conclude this afternoon. MRTI Friday Practice Report at Watkins Glen

Watkins Glen, NY – The three series’ in the Mazda Road to Indy will conclude their seasons at Watkins Glen this weekend. With that being said, all three series’ took to the scenic upstate New York road course on Friday for preliminary action. The top step of the ladder in the Indy Lights Series already knows their champion. All Kyle Kaiser has to do on Sunday morning is start the race and the title is his. MRTI Championships To Be Decided This Weekend at Watkins Glen

It’s defacto championship weekend for the entire Mazda Road to Indy program this weekend at Watkins Glen International. All three series’ of the ladder program will have a champion crowned this weekend in upstate New York. Other than in Indy Lights, where Kyle Kaiser just needs to start the race and become the champion, the other two series’ will be tight and action packed. Bommarito Automotive Group 500 at Huge Success, Track Reports Just 31 Total Complaints Out of 40,000+ Fans

INDIANAPOLIS – If you ask me, the entire Verizon IndyCar Series race weekend at the Gateway Motorsports Park was a huge success. The entire team on both sides did a great job of promoting the event and it showed when 40,000+ spectators filled into the 1.25-mile track on Saturday night to watch the Bommarito Automotive Group 500. Santi Urrutia Wins Thrilling Indy Lights Race at Gateway, Kaiser All But Clinches The Title

Madison, Ill – The Indy Lights Series race at the Gateway Motorsports Park was as advertised. Santi Urrutia and Juan Piedrahita put on a heck of a show battling for the lead lap after lap with Urrutia making the winning pass by Piedrahita on a late race restart and cruising to his second win of the season. It was Urrutia’s sixth career victory, one that he hoped would be a championship saving one, but it proved to not be enough.
