Hamilton Takes US Grand Prix Pole

Lewis Hamilton’s fight to clinch his fifth career Formula One championship will come from the pole for Sunday’s United States Grand Prix. Hamilton, topped both Ferrari’s in qualifying on Saturday at COTA en route to his 81st career pole. He’s won the last four races on the season and six of the last seven overall. At COTA, Hamilton has won for four straight years and five of six overall too. Good luck getting by him on Sunday.

Hemric Leads 128 Laps But Nemechek Passes Him Late For 1st Career XFINITY Series Win

What a wild day of racing it was on Saturday for the NASCAR XFINITY Series. From the opening lap on, the Kansas Lottery 300 had huge playoff implications. Heading into Saturday’s NASCAR XFINITY Series race at the Kansas Speedway, it looked like Joe Gibbs Racing would be the ones to beat. Due to the opening lap crash between half of the eight remaining playoff drivers, Saturday’s Kansas Lottery 300 at the Kansas Speedway was a great day for the other remaining NASCAR XFINITY Series playoff drivers. Heading into the opening race of the Round of 8, Elliott Sadler (-0), Tyler Reddick (-1) and Matt Tifft (-8) sat below the cutoff line. Heading into the 2018 NASCAR XFINITY Series playoffs, it appeared that Justin Allgaier and Christopher Bell would be the ones to beat for this year’s championship.
