The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series is back in action this weekend after having a rare week off last week. Saturday’s Corrigan Oil 200 (1 p.m. ET/FS1/MRN/SiriusXM NASCAR Radio) will be the second to last race of the 2018 regular season. With that being said, there’s a lot of attention on this race for playoff aspirations.
After two practice sessions on Friday, here are the top five drivers to beat.
He brought his No. 24 Chevrolet home 10th in this race last year but this year, I think he can finish better. He enters this weekend on the heels of five straight top 10 finishes including a win back at Gateway. He was fairly quick this weekend too.
He’s made two starts at Michigan, both were eighth place results. He brings four straight top eight finishes with him this weekend, with results of eighth, sixth, second and sixth respectively over his last four starts on the year. Watch out for his No. 98 Ford on Saturday. He starts sixth.
He still has yet to win a NASCAR race, but this could be his weekend. Friesen, has finished in the top four in each of his last three starts on the year and will have a great chance of winning on Saturday in his No. 52 Chevrolet. He was in the top 12 of both practice sessions on Friday and will roll off fifth.
He’s due for another win. Gragson, finished seventh in this race last year and has eight straight top 10’s to his credit heading into this weekend. He was first and sixth respectively in the two practices on Friday and will start third.

He has a fast Truck and earned the pole For Saturday’s race. If not for some bad luck this season, he’d have a ton of wins. This could be his week to shine.
