For the first time in nearly four years, Parker Kligerman will be back in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series. Gaunt Brothers will put Kligerman in their No. 96 Toyota for the Coca Cola 600 at the Charlotte Motor Speedway on May 27. It will mark Kligerman’s first Cup Series start since the 2014 Southern 500 at Darlington.
In the span between Cup starts, Kligerman has become an analyst for NBC Sports’ NASCAR coverage as well as making select starts in the NASCAR XFINITY Series. He’s made 22 Truck Series starts the last few years including three this season with Henderson Motorsports. Last year, he even reached victory lane in a Truck race doing so in the Fall Talladega playoff race.
Now, Kligerman gets back in the car that has made starts in each of the last two Daytona 500’s plus a few more select races along the way.
