Martin Truex Jr. is a pole machine. The Furniture Row Racing driver earned his third Busch Pole Award of the 2018 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series season and 18th of his career, as he will start first in Saturday night’s Toyota Owners 400 (6:30 p.m. ET/FOX/MRN/SiriusXM NASCAR Radio).
Truex, turned a lap of 123.859 mph in his No. 78 Toyota in the third and final round of knockout qualifying to earn the top starting spot at the Richmond Raceway.
Chase Elliott will roll off second in his No. 9 Chevrolet for his best starting spot of the season. Elliott, circled the .75-mile Virginia track with a speed of 123.621 mph for a front row starting spot.
Defending spring race winner Joey Logano will roll off third in his No. 22 Ford. Logano, turned a lap of 123.581 mph. He will be joined in the second row by Denny Hamlin who made a lap of 123.542 mph in his No. 11 Toyota.
