After 20th Place Bristol Finish, Landon Cassill Should Take a Page Out of Ryan Preece’s Book

Landon Cassill needs to take a page out of Ryan Preece’s book and take a step back and bet on himself. Preece, had funding to race full-time in the NASCAR XFINITY Series with underbudget teams. Instead, after one full season, he took his money to Joe Gibbs Racing for what was originally a two race deal. He finished second and first respectively in those opportunities, which has led to a 10 race deal with JGR in 2018. He’s got two wins to his credit now, including a win on Saturday…

Team Penske Falters Out In Food City 500 at Bristol

I originally didn’t expect much out of the Team Penske trio for this weekend’s Food City 500 at the Bristol (Tenn) Motor Speedway. He worked in practice on pit road speeds this weekend. He had all his ts crossed and i’s dotted.

Kyle Busch Wins Weather Delayed Food City 500 in Bristol

Kyle Busch is the king of the Bristol (Tenn) Motor Speedway. In Monday’s weather delayed Food City 500, Busch stayed in the hunt all day and took his No. 18 Toyota back to victory lane on the .533-mile concrete oval. Busch, started on the pole for Sunday’s race, but he quickly fell back after just 16 laps. He wouldn’t even get the lead back until we resumed racing nearly 24 hours later. See, rain and cooler temps were forecasted on Sunday in the Tennessee mountains. Despite morning rain, NASCAR got…
