This month’s Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona will be the final race for an iconic driver. Scott Pruett announced on Friday in Daytona that this year’s event will be his final race. Pruett, will finish with a highly decorated career. He’s raced in almost everything there was too. Pruett, 57, won the IMSA GTO Championship in his first year of professional racing in 1986. INDIANAPOLIS – INDYCAR has named veteran race official Kyle Novak as race director for the Verizon IndyCar Series. Jay Frye, INDYCAR president of competition and operations, made the announcement today. As race director, Novak will lead operations in Race Control at all Verizon IndyCar Series events.
