When Barney Visser started Furniture Row Racing, he had to fund the team from his own business venture. Now, nearly a decade later, he’s found the funding to not have to put his own business on his race car. On Tuesday, FRR got even better news, they signed a deal with Auto Owners Insurance to be the primary sponsor on Martin Truex Jr’s car for eight races instead of six for next year. That means that all 38 races (36 points paying, two All-Star events) are now fully funded.
Bass Pro Shops will be the primary sponsor for 16 races next season. 5-hour Energy will be the primary sponsor for 14 races next season.
Auto-Owners Insurance will be the primary sponsor for the remaining eight races.
