He’s already knocked one off of that list this year alone.

Hinchcliffe, drove his No. 5 Honda to victory lane at Long Beach back in April. After having a strong car on street courses this season, it made him excited to possibly win on his home town street course in Toronto this weekend.

After finishing on the podium last year at Toronto, he had high hopes for the Honda Indy Toronto. Well, he came up just short, bringing his Schmidt Peterson Motorsports entry home third for the second straight year. It was his third podium of the season, all three on street courses.

Hinchcliffe, is now 10th in the standings, 126 points out heading to Mid-Ohio in two weeks, a track where he’s had some great success at recently

So, it wasn’t a win on Sunday for Hinchcliffe, but to finish on the podium again in front of his home fans is still satisfying.
