For 2nd Straight Year Erik Jones Wins XFINITY Seies Race at Bristol

Erik Jones is a man on a mission in NASCAR XFINITY Series action. He won the race last weekend at the Texas Motor Speedway as well as the race last spring at the Bristol Motor Speedway. Today, he went two straight in each. Jones, took the lead with 20 laps remaining in the rain-interrupted Fitzgerald Glider Kits 300 and held on in the XFINITY Series win at the .533-mile Tennessee oval.

Schmidt-Peterson Motorsports Duo Having Strong Weekend at Barber

Leeds, Ala – James Hinchcliffe couldn’t find much speed in the March 21 test at the Barber Motorsports Park. He was 16th in the two Verizon IndyCar Series test sessions that day. Leeds, Ala – Will Power has clearly been the class of the field this weekend at the Barber Motorsports Park. He’s been battling his Team Penske teammates through all three practice sessions, and now, he battled them in qualifying as well. Leeds, Ala – The front row starters for today’s Indy Lights Series race at the Barber Motorsports Park had an issue at the start when pole sitter Kyle Kaiser and second place starter Colton Herta made contact with one another on the opening lap of Saturday’s race at the 2.3-mile Alabama road course.
