Rosberg Wins Italian Grand Prix

Due to Lewis Hamilton’s bad luck in the last two race weekends, Nico Rosberg has benefitted the most. Hamilton, had to serve a grid penalty in Belgium last weekend which saw him start last in the field. He would finish third, but Rosberg capitalized as he earned the pole and won the race.

This weekend in Italy, Hamilton started on the pole, but he had a terrible start and fell two sixth by the first lap. Rosberg, was there to pounce on his mistake again and took his seventh Formula 1 victory of the year and second in-a-row.

Hamilton, would rebound to come home second, but his points lead has evaporated to just two points heading into Singapore.

Sebatian Vettel would get around his Ferrari teammate Kimi Raikkonen to finish third while Raikkonen would bring his Ferrari home fourth.

Daniel Ricciardo would round out the top five in his No. 3 Red Bull entry.

The race would be fairly clean as it was capped by another Mercedes dominance.
