IndyCar at Road America Preview and Predictions

INDIANAPOLIS – For the first time in nearly a decade, the Verizon IndyCar Series returns to the 4.048-mile Road America circuit in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin. Its been since 2007 that the open wheel series had made its mark at the northern Wisconsin facility as Sebastien Bourdais took the checkered flag first in that race some nine years ago.

But, a lot has changed since then as basically a whole new crop of drivers will take their turn on the scenic track, as it’s a very popular addition to the 2016 schedule.

So much so, the track announced that over 100,000 tickets have already been sold for Sunday’s race, as the winner this weekend will be a popular one.
